Alaskan Malamute

Not recognized as a pure breed, the disconcertingly blue-eyed Alaskan Malamute originates of the USA as a working animal bred for endurance and efficiency in sled pulling under extreme and inclimate weather conditions. The dense, thick fur of the Alaskan Malamute helps protect against both cold and wet as the Husky can endure temperatures as cold as -50° F. While the Alaskan Malamute functions well as a part of a team, Malamutes are more suited to single pet environs. A spirited, loyal pet.
