Border Collie

Originating of the United Kingdom and also known as the Scottish Sheep Dog, the black and white Border Collie was originally bred as a working animal primarily used for herding and protecting livestock. Dedicated, focused and agile, the modern day Border Collie is just as likely to be found running an agility course as protecting its flock. Affable and amicable, the Border Collie is a born communicator and should be trained well from a young age to help temper its penchant for vocalization.
