Labradoodle

Not recognized as an official breed by the AKC, the Labradoodle originates of Australia as an intentional cross between a Labrador Retriever and the Standard, Miniature or Toy Poodle and is considered a "designer dog". Like the Goldendoodle, the Labradoodle is a modern and popular family dog and has found popularity as a service dog for the hearing or sight impaired. Considered hypoallergenic, though the Labrador Retriever is not, the Labradoodle is often recommended for those with allergies.
