Beagle
Originating of England, the Beagle was never more popularized than by Charlie Brown's "Snoopy". A hound or foxhound, the Beagle was originally bred as a hunting or scent hound used for quarry including hare, deer and fox. The Beagle is amicable without being either too aggressive or too timid and full of personality with a penchant for mischief and a tendency not to shy away from voicing an opinion. A friend to pets and people alike, the Beagle, with space to play, makes a great urban pet.
