Goldendoodle

While not recognized as a pure breed by the AKC, the Goldendoodle originates of North America and Australia and has gown in popularity on both continents. An intentional cross-breed between a Golden Retriever and Poodle, the Goldendoodle, while a "designer" dog was actually bred to be a service dog for the sight impaired. Considered hypoallergenic, though the Golden Retriever itself is not, a Goldendoodle is often recommended for people with allergies. A great family pet.
