Weimaraner

Originating of Germany, and often owned by royalty, the Weimaraner is a medium bird hunting and retrieving dog, typified by its distinctive grey coloring. Lean and defined, the Weimaraner is often confused for a Vizsla, a red, rust hunting dog of Hungary. As with most sporting and hunting dogs, Weimaraners tend towards the active side and need room to roam and strong training from an early year. Weimaraners make great family pets but size may preclude them from condo or apartment living.
