Bullmastiff
Originating of the United Kingdom, the Bull Mastiff was initially bred as a protector, guarding estates from poachers and protecting gameskeepers. Because of its role as a protector and guard dog, the Bullmastiff was known as the "Gameskeeper's Night Dog". Formidable of size with intimidating presence, the Bullmastiff is also a sensitive dog of great affection, loyalty and devotion. Size alone precludes the Bullmastiff from condo or apartment living.
