Cockapoo

Though not officially a recognized breed by the AKC, the Cockapoo is a trailblazer in terms of being one of the first planned hybrid breeds as a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and Poodle. Long-lived, available in a multitude of colors, well-tempered and social, the Cockapoo has fast become the quintessential family pet, small enough to thrive in a condo environs. Active as puppies, the Cockapoo settles well into adulthood around 3-4 years old, becoming a constant companion demanding little.
