Australian Blue Heeler

Originating of Australia, the Australian Cattle Dog, also known as the Australian Blue Heeler is a working dog bred for herding. Distinctive in coloration withgrey-blue tonality, the Australian Blue Heeler comes by its name because of its penchant for nipping at stragglers' heel. The Australian Cattle Dog was intentionally bred with tamed dingoes and the resemblance is readily apparent. Independent, active and intelligent, the Australian Blue Heeler should be trained well from a young age.
