Coton De Tulear

Originating of Madagascar and so soft and fuzzy that its name references cotton, the hypoallergenic Coton de Tulear is a small breed dog with large, expressive, dark eyes and serves as the national dog of Madagascar. It is believed that the Coton de Tulear originates as a pirate dog where it served both as companion and ratting dog to help control vermin. Tulear is a Madagascar port. Very much an affectionate companion dog, the Coton de Tulear is friend to both pets and people alike.
