German Pointer
Originating of Germany, the German Pointer actually refers to any one of three different Pointer breeds of that country: German Longhaired Pointer, German Shorthaired Pointer and German Wirehaired Pointer. An adaptable hunting gun dog capable of retrieving from land or water, the German Pointer was originally bred to be a falconing dog. Agile and active with an innate prey instinct, the German Pointer is not well suited to condo living based on size but is generally people and pet friendly.
