Pyrenean Mountain Dog

Orginating of the Basque region between the French and Spanish borders, the Great Pyrenees Dog, also known as the Pyrenean Mountain Dog is a shepherding and livestock dog. Often pictured in white and similar to its cousin the St. Bernard, in spite of its size, the Pyrenean Mountain Dog is surprisingly agile, able to attend to its flock on steep mountainside terrain. The quiet disposition of the comfortably paced Pyrenean Mountain Dog has made this gentle giant popular the world over.
