Originating of Scotland and also known as a Sheltie or Miniature Collie, the Shetland Sheepdog was originally bred as a working animal, tending, herding and protecting livestock. In modern times and because of their gentle and constant disposition, Shetland Sheepdogs work in service as therapy dogs.
