Toy Poodle

With almost as many sizes as colors, it's hardly any wonder the Poodle, originating of Germany as a water hunting dog and popularized in France has endured as a family pet for centuries. Poodles include Standard, Miniature and Toy designations, with Standard being the largest and Toy the smallest. The Teacup Poodle is actually a smaller version of the Toy Poodle but not considered a breed unto itself. As with many small breed dogs, Toy Poodles can be overly protective of their owners.
